Purpose
GoInsight uses AI to help teams analyze device operations, summarize insights, and streamline workflows. Some AI features may connect to trusted third-party model providers. We design these features with data protection, transparency, customer control, and human oversight in mind.
Does GoInsight use third-party AI models?
Yes. Some GoInsight AI features may connect to evaluated third-party AI or large language model providers to support capabilities such as natural language analysis, report generation, workflow assistance, and operational insights. We assess third-party model providers based on security, privacy, service reliability, and contractual safeguards.
How do third-party AI model providers process customer data?
GoInsight only sends data to third-party model providers when it is necessary to deliver a specific AI-enabled feature. We use enterprise-grade APIs and contractual or provider-level safeguards designed to ensure that customer data is processed only for the requested service and is not used to train public foundation models.
Is customer data used to train AI models?
By default, GoInsight does not use customer business data, device data, report content, or user prompts to train Sand Studio models or third-party providers' public models. If we introduce any model improvement, training, or evaluation use case that involves customer data, we will handle it through clear product notice, contractual terms, or customer consent where applicable.
Do customers need to enable GoInsight AI features?
GoInsight AI features are enabled based on product plan, administrator settings, or specific feature controls. For features that involve third-party model processing, we aim to provide clear notice and customer-level control so organizations can understand how the feature works before enabling it.
What data may be sent to third-party AI models?
GoInsight only sends the data necessary to complete the requested AI task. This may include user prompts, task context, authorized device or system information, and selected data required for report generation or analysis. GoInsight does not send all customer environment data to third-party models by default. The actual data scope depends on the feature, customer configuration, and user permissions.
How does GoInsight protect personal data and sensitive information?
GoInsight is designed to apply appropriate data protection measures based on the data type, feature requirements, and customer configuration. These measures may include access control, encrypted transmission, least-necessary data processing, data masking, or de-identification where appropriate. Personal data and sensitive information are handled in accordance with applicable contractual, legal, and internal security requirements.
Are GoInsight AI outputs always accurate?
No. AI-generated outputs may be affected by model capability, input quality, available context, and the specific use case. GoInsight AI is designed to help users accelerate analysis, summarize information, and prepare decisions, but it should not replace professional judgment. Important operational, security, compliance, or business decisions should always be reviewed by a qualified user or administrator.
What use cases is GoInsight AI designed for? Are there any limitations?
GoInsight AI is designed for device operation analysis, anomaly summarization, report generation, task recommendations, workflow assistance, and knowledge retrieval. It should not be used as the sole basis for decisions in high-risk areas such as legal, regulatory, security incident response, employment, healthcare, financial, or other sensitive domains without appropriate human review.
How will users know when they are using an AI feature?
GoInsight will identify AI-assisted features, outputs, or explanations where appropriate, so users understand when content has been generated, summarized, or assisted by AI. For AI-generated reports, summaries, or recommendations, users should review and validate the output before taking action.
Can customers control or disable AI features?
GoInsight aims to provide administrator-level controls so customers can decide whether to enable specific AI features based on their internal policies, data sensitivity, and compliance requirements. For features involving third-party model processing, product documentation should clearly explain the enablement conditions, data processing scope, and available control options.
How does GoInsight reduce the risk of inaccurate, biased, or inappropriate AI outputs?
We use product testing, use-case evaluation, output quality review, user feedback, and appropriate safety controls to reduce the risk of inaccurate, inappropriate, or biased AI outputs. Since GoInsight connects to third-party models, we also monitor relevant provider updates, model limitations, and security or safety guidance to improve the product experience over time.
How can customers report AI-related errors or security concerns?
Customers can report inaccurate outputs, inappropriate content, security concerns, or data processing questions through our support channel or designated contact point. We review reported issues based on severity and type, and may update product documentation, feature limitations, prompt design, provider configuration, or internal processes where appropriate.
