Welcome to GoInsight.AI!
GoInsight.AI is operated by SAND STUDIO PTE. LTD., a Singapore company (registered at Unit 30-15, Level 30, Singapore Land Tower, No.50 Raffles Pl, Singapore 048623) and/or its affiliates (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "our"), providing an enterprise-grade AI collaboration platform.
This Appendix forms part of our Privacy Policy and is specifically intended to clarify how we use and process user data obtained from the Google Workspace API when you use GoInsight.AI's services (hereinafter referred to as the "Service").
By accepting these terms, or by actively invoking the Google Workspace API after these terms have been presented to you, you agree that we may collect, use, process, and protect user data as described in this Appendix.
If you have any questions or concerns about this Appendix or wish to exercise your legal rights, please contact us at dpo@goinsight.ai.
1. Scope and Purpose of Transmitting Google Workspace API User Data
This Service provides an enterprise-level automation platform for corporate clients and their authorized users (hereinafter referred to as "you") for internal use, driven by the users themselves.
As a tool to execute your instructions, neither we nor the Service will proactively transmit, sell, or use any user data without your knowledge. The only purpose for which we access, transmit, and process your user data is to execute the automated tasks or instructions you explicitly initiate or configure within the Service and to provide you with the Service.
You have full control and discretion in creating and configuring automation workflows, including (1) whether to invoke the Google Workspace API; (2) which types of Google Workspace API to invoke; (3) which user data to transmit to third-party LLMs (Large Language Models); and (4) stopping the invocation of the Google Workspace API and user data at any time and revoking authorization.
To provide clearer understanding, we categorize Google user data based on the services you may use. When you create a workflow that includes LLM functionality, you may choose to transmit one or more of the following types of data as input for the LLM:
1.1. Data from Gmail
When you set up a workflow to analyze, summarize, or draft emails, you may transmit metadata (such as sender, recipient, subject), email body content, or the text content of attachments.
1.2. Data from Google Drive
When you set up a workflow to analyze, summarize, or edit documents, you may transmit the entire or partial text content of documents (Docs), spreadsheets (Sheets), or presentations (Slides).
1.3. Data from Google Calendar
When you set up a workflow to create reminders or summaries based on calendar events, you may transmit event titles, descriptions, participants, and time information.
1.4. Data from Google Sheets
When you use spreadsheet data for analysis, report generation, or template population, you may transmit data from specific cells, rows, or entire worksheets.
1.5. Data from Google Play Developer API
When using the platform for managing your app on the Google Play Store, you may transmit user reviews (including review text and ratings), user feedback, or app performance reports for sentiment analysis, generating response drafts, or creating insights reports.
The core principle is that any data transmitted to a third-party LLM is strictly limited to the data you explicitly designate as input for that LLM within the workflow. You have full control over the data flow, and we will not use this user data to build, develop, train, or improve general-purpose, non-personalized AI models or machine learning models.
2. Integration with Third-Party LLMs
To provide more diverse options, we integrate leading third-party LLMs. When you choose to have these LLMs perform automated tasks or instructions, your data may be transmitted to them for processing.
To maintain transparency and protect your right to be informed, we strongly advise you to carefully read and understand the legal documents provided by these third-party LLM providers before using them. Depending on your organization’s deployment method, these third-party LLMs may include two possible types:
Enterprise-Owned LLMs: These refer to AI models (including LLMs) independently chosen, deployed, configured, and integrated into the Service by your organization. These models may include models developed by your organization, co-developed with third parties, or licensed from other model providers. Enterprise-owned LLMs are not directly integrated by us. Since we cannot know which specific LLMs your organization selects and their associated operational details, we cannot provide a list of such models or their privacy policies. It is important to note that the integration of these enterprise-owned LLMs into our Service is entirely determined by your organization. These LLMs may not appear in the list of cloud-based LLM model providers. For the privacy protection rules related to enterprise-owned LLMs, please contact your organization or refer to the publicly available official privacy policies of the enterprise-owned LLMs as applicable.
3. Restrictions on the Use of User Data
The use of user data received from the Workspace API will comply with the "Google API Services User Data Policy", which you can review here [link: https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy], including restrictions on usage
Purpose Limitation: We will only transmit user data to third-party LLMs for the specific purpose of completing the automated tasks or instructions you specify. The transmission and use of this data are strictly limited to providing you with the requested features, and once processing is complete, the results will be returned.
Minimal Access Requests: We only request the permissions necessary to complete the automated tasks or instructions you specify. If certain permissions are not required to perform the tasks, we will not request access to or collect any user data.
Prohibited Use for Development or Training:
- (i)Neither we nor the Service will transmit, sell, or use user data to build, develop, train, or improve general-purpose, non-personalized AI models or machine learning models. We will not use Google Workspace API data to develop, improve, or train general-purpose, non-personalized AI models or machine learning models. Using user data for training is prohibited.
- (ii)We have reviewed the privacy policies of the aforementioned cloud-based LLM providers, and they do not use user data for training or improving general-purpose, non-personalized AI models or machine learning models. If you discover violations by any third party, please file a complaint with us via dpo@goinsight.ai or dpo@goinsight.ai. Upon receiving your complaint, we will suspend integration with that cloud-based LLM within a reasonable time (not exceeding 30 days). If you file a complaint against enterprise-owned LLMs, we will forward it to your organization. As these enterprise-owned LLMs are not integrated by us, we will respect your organization’s decision after considering business, security, and other relevant factors.
No Sale of Data or Use for Advertising: We do not sell user data to third parties for monetary gain or any other valuable consideration, nor do we use user data for any form of advertising or targeted marketing.
4. Your Control Over Your Data
You have full control over your user data.
You can review, manage, or revoke the access permissions for Google data granted to the Service at any time by visiting your Google account security settings here [link:
https://myaccount.google.com/permissions].
User data returned by the Google Workspace API will only be used for the specific automated tasks or instructions you explicitly initiate, and after the task is completed, only the results will be returned. In the workflow you create and configure within the Service, you can click the "Delete" icon to remove data.
5. Connection, Modifications and Updates
This Appendix is incorporated into the Privacy Policy and serves as a supplement and further clarification to the Privacy Policy. The rights and corresponding provisions granted to you by the Privacy Policy will continue to apply and protect your rights, while the detailed policies regarding the use and processing of user data returned by the Google Workspace API will be subject to this Appendix.
We will regularly review this Appendix and publish updated content on the relevant webpage, without further notice. We will display the updated date on this Appendix to reflect its effective date.
If changes to this Appendix affect your rights, unless otherwise required by applicable law, your continued use of the Service to invoke the Google Workspace API after such modifications are published will constitute your acceptance of the revised Appendix. If you do not agree to the revised Appendix, you must stop using the Google Workspace API integrated into the Service.
