How It Works
- Set Crawl Count
- Input the number of top Hacker News items to fetch in the Start node.
- Fetch Items
- Call the "Fetch Hacker News Items" node to retrieve the article list.
- Process Each Article
- Loop through each item, extracting author and URL, then fetch HTML content.
- Generate Summary
- Use the LLM node to create a structured Markdown summary from the raw HTML.
- Archive Summary
- Save the summary to Google Drive with the file named as "Author-HackerNews".
What You'll Need
Before using this template, make sure you have:
- A configured Google Drive OAuth credential linked to the "Save Summary to Google Drive" node.
- Access to the Hacker News API as utilized by the "Fetch Hacker News Items" node.
How to Use

Set up and select your Google Drive OAuth credential in the "Save Summary to Google Drive" node.
Enter the desired number of Hacker News items to fetch in the "Start" node's Count parameter.
Trigger the workflow to fetch, summarize, and save articles automatically.
Observe the process looping through each article, generating summaries, and archiving them.
Check your Google Drive for the saved summaries named with the author and Hacker News tag.
