How It Works
- Receive Input
- The workflow captures your SpreadsheetId, SheetName, and natural language question through the Start node.
- Analyze the Question
- The AI Agent Thinks & Analyzes node interprets your request and determines what data is needed.
- Fetch Sheet Data
- The agent retrieves relevant rows from Google Sheets using the configured credentials.
- Process & Calculate
- The AI analyzes the raw data, performs calculations, filtering, or aggregation as required.
- Return Clear Results
- A concise, easy-to-understand answer is generated and delivered through the Answer node.
What You'll Need
Before using this template, make sure you have:
- A Google account
- A Google Sheet with structured data
- Google Sheets credentials configured inside the workflow
How to Use
- Step 1.Prepare Your Google Sheet
Ensure your sheet has clear column headers in the first row. Clean, structured data improves accuracy.
- Step 2.Configure Credentials
Open the AI Agent Thinks & Analyzes node and configure credentials for the Get Row(s) in sheet action so the workflow can access your Google Sheet.
- Step 3.Enter Spreadsheet Details
- SpreadsheetId – Found in the sheet URL between /d/ and /edit/.
- SheetName – The tab name at the bottom of your Google Sheet (e.g., Sheet1, Leads, Sales2026).
In the Start node, fill in:
- Step 4.Ask Your Question
- “What is the total sales amount for Q4?”
- “How many tasks are overdue?”
- “Which campaign has the highest ROI?”
In the Query input box, type your question in natural language, such as:
- Step 5.Review the Answer
The workflow analyzes your data and returns a clear, direct response in seconds.
