How It Works

  1. Fetch & Iterate
  2. Starts by pulling all email rows from your specified Google Sheet, then processes each one sequentially.

  2. Searches your knowledge base using the email content as a query, ensuring the AI has accurate, specific information—not just general knowledge.

  2. The AI merges the original email with retrieved knowledge to generate precise, context-aware replies.

What You'll Need

  • Google Sheets Credential
  • Gmail Credential
  • A configured Knowledge Base
  • An already created and populated Google Sheet containing the email data to be processed.

How to Use

  1. Step 1. Prepare Google Sheet
  2. Prepare a Google Sheet with the following four columns in this exact order: Name, Email Address, Email Subject, and Reason for Sending/Email Content.

  1. Step 2. Populate Sheet Data
  2. Then, fill in a few rows with your own target information, making sure the data fits each column correctly.

  1. Step 3. Configure Knowledge Base
  2. Ensure that your knowledge base has been created and properly configured with all relevant information or documents in GoInsight.

  1. Step 4. Authorize Google Sheets
  2. Open the workflow, in the "Get Rows from Sheet" node, select your pre-authorized Google Sheets OAuth2 credentials. If none exist, create a new one—it will be saved for future use.

  1. Step 5. Authorize Gmail
  2. In the "Get Send As" node, select your pre-authorized Gmail OAuth2 credentials. If none exist, create a new one—it will be saved for future use.

  1. Step 6. Configure Send Mail Node
  2. In the "Send Mail" node, select your Gmail OAuth2 credentials again.

  1. Step 7. Configure Knowledge Base Node
  2. In the "Knowledge Base Retrieval" node, add your created knowledge base.

  1. Step 8. Select AI Model
  2. In the "Generate AI Reply" node, feel free to select a model. The default works well if you prefer to skip this step.

  1. Step 9. Configure Start Node
  2. Click the "Test Run" button in the upper right corner, paste your Google Sheet ID in "SpreadsheetId," and enter the sheet name (for example, Sheet1) in "SheetName."

  1. Step 10. Run Workflow
  2. After all steps are complete, run the workflow.

Note: To send the same email to multiple recipients, simply duplicate a row and update the Name and Email Address fields for each new recipient.

FAQs

Will this send emails automatically without me checking them first?
Yes. It is fully automated. To ensure the AI hits your key points, please provide specific details in the "Reason for Sending" column of your sheet instead of vague notes. And always do a Test Run first.
What happens if the answer isn't in my Knowledge Base?
The AI will infer a general response based on your knowledge base and the email context. To maintain accuracy, ensure your knowledge base covers the relevant aspects of your inquiries.
What file formats can my Knowledge Base handle?
It supports Markdown, TXT, and DOCX uploads (up to 10MB), or you can import content via URL and Rich Text.
Does it track what it has already sent?
No. It processes all rows in the sheet. Please remove or move old data before a new run to avoid duplicates.
Is my internal data used to train the AI model?
Your data is private. GoInsight does not use your documents or emails for training purposes.
